Hi, I'm new to this yahoo answers, well anyway I'm going as Angelina Jolie to a work or office party whatever you like to say. I need some makeup, hair, and clothing tips. Thanks?

someone brought this to my attention, I'm looking for a simple quick natural look. I would probably say that i'm the angelina with billy.

Outfit:
Wear something form-fitting. A short black dress with heels would look great. Don't over-do the jewelry though, maybe a thin chain necklace or earrings. Nothing big, bulky, or gawdy. Angelina always looks very classic.

Hair:
Wear your hair down, and straighten it.

Makeup:
Keep your makeup very natural. At the most, wear two coats of black mascara with THIN eyeliner. A wing-tip style would look awesome, I have seen A.J. wear her eye makeup like this many times.
As for the lips, don't wear dark colors or lip-liner. Wear a high-shine gloss that will make your lips look full and luscious. Try dabbing some shimmer eyeshadow (not a dark color) between your cupid's bow. This is the area where your two lip arcs meet.
Remember you don't need a lot of makeup to make a look like hers, she always look very simple and classic and sexy. So don't try and wear heavy eyeshadow or anything!

Well today we chose people to do a project for people who took a stand. And I know Angelina Jolie helped Hurricane Katrina and all, but is that considered taking a stand?
I wasn't ready to choose which person I should do and so these two guys in my class told be to do Angelina Jolie. Ugh. So did she do anything to take a stand?

How come it took a non-black woman to make features of black women beautiful. Like for instance Angelina Jolie is applauded for having full, thick lips, black women have always have full lips but were never credited or called beautiful mainstream for it. No black female movie star never was called beautiful for her full lips. Actually black women's full lips were always made fun of by whites now white women are getting lip injections. Jennifer Lopez made big butts a thing of beauty, even white and spanish women want that. Black women always had the big butts but were never called beautiful for it, of course black men always knew it, remember Sir Mix A Lot song I Like Big Butts but it took non-black women to make the butt beautiful. It seems people hate to call black women beautiful for their features, Asians and Latino women are called beautiful for certain things but not black women because the stereotype is black women are just ugly and that's not so.
It seems black women can't make their features a thing of beauty. Many black stars have to look white to be considered beautiful yet non-black women can have black features and be called beautiful. Jennifer Lopez and Angelina Jolie are called beautiful for having features that originated with black women and black women never got credited or called beautiful. Full lips and big butts now are a thing of beautiful just because a white and a spanish woman has it so now it's beautiful mainstream-wise, white and spanish women are getting lip injections and butt implants, but the full lips and big butts wasn't considered beautiful when only black women had the features. Thoughts?

The questions and comments never cease to amaze me. I don't know where you have been for the last couple of hundred years, but the majority of black women have never had an issue with our beauty. Most of my ancestors have always appreciated the unique beauty of our women. It never bothered some of us what some people in mainstream society thought. Why should we have to prove to fools that full lips and rounded behinds are sexy? That is not my job. We are so much more than body parts, and I refuse to let anyone define me in such a manner. I've had many people stop me on the street and give me compliments from my almond shaped eyes to the clef in my chin. So what White or Spanish woman do you believe made almond shaped eyes beautiful in order for me to get my compliments? Oh, and by the way, the people who usually stop and compliment me are white women and men.
Who cares what mainstream society think. Some people think that grown women who look like skeletons are sexy. I think not!
