Why does lebron james get some much fame and media attention, i meen whats so special about him? He's not the best player in the nba. I meen there are guys that are better like steve nash, tim duncan, dywane wade, dirk, and of couse kobe bryant. So why is there so much attention on him, i think he is very overrated the other stars i just liseted have done more than him. I meen he couldn't even win 1 game in the finals they were embarresed. Yet he still gets all the media attention, hosts the ESPYS, and a lot of national games teivised for the cavs i meen even with lebron the cavs are a flat boring team to watch. I don't even think Micheal Jordan got as much attention as lebron. Also lebron is not the best player in the nba i believe kobe brynat is much better than him right now.

dude its lebron james u cant argue with dat.....n the reason y he didnt win any in the finals is bcs he carried that tem there n then wen he was faced with team that actually had 5 players on their team it was 5 on 1 n that is in no way fair by an means.........he gets so much attention because look how young he is hes lkike the 8th wonder of the world right now bcs he is so good as such a young age.....i dont agree with that kobe being the best crap bcs kobe is a dirty player n he is good ill admit but kebron is a power house....he is like MUSCLE n nuthin can beat pure muscle not even kobes nose shots or close-lining abilities.....even though kobe can shoot lebron would swat the crap outa him...lebron has the highest vertical jump in the league n so thats just boards right there i mean if u cant jump higher then u cant get the rebound....n being able to jump means he could dunk on bryants butt all freakin day

Lebron james is so overrated!
All he can do is throw down some dunks or finish around the rim, yes, he can get through traffic and the through downs are nice, but it's not like he can do it every single position.

His jump shots are incosistent, people just love him because of the exciting dunks. Unlike some real good players like Kobe, or Wade.

for those of you who's watching the game tonight, I saw it too.

So the open dunks in transations brought up his shooting percentage (the dunks were okay but they looked the same), and how can one night prove anything?
If it can, then it's kobe better than Jordan and everyone else except for wilt because he scored 81 points in one game?
and those of you saying him carrying his team, he faced the wizards without Arenas or Butler, that's piece of cake.
nets didn't play well, and the pistons didn't either, when they faced a real team like the Spurs in the finals, they got swept! 4-0!
Kobe's also carrying his team, his teammates are worse than Lebron's, with Kwame, Farmar and Bynum being some of their mean players, and injuries most of the season. He only didn't get them that far because they are in the west and got stopped by Suns.

i hear you man people say he carried the cavs to the finals, he has one of the best supporting casts in the nba, and he is in the east. people need to give kobe credit because he really did carry the franchise on his back and single handedly made the playoffs. why is lebron getting so much credit he is just an average player he could dunk but he cant shoot to save his life

I am out of the country now, so I don't know what it is that LeBron James is doing to make him such a personality. In the country I'm in, you don't become such a lightning rod of focus unless you do more than just be a fantastic basketball player. He must be doing something outside the court to get such notoriety. What is he doing?

being a 17 year-old high school kid with a freakish body and amazing talent gave him a huge amount of popularity even before entering the NBA. People were just looking for the next BIG thing after MJ so that the NBA can relive the "glory days".

They've played together in FIBA, and they played great together.

Would a team featuring Carmelo Anthony and Lebron James be enough to win a championship?

They play the same position, they're too small to go to Power Forward, to big and slow to play shooting guard. You'd either have to bench one of them or not play one of them to they're maximum potential. It would be a waste either way.
