Last night Mike "Rockin" Huckabee said "The reporting of the past few days has proven tackier than a costume change at a Madonna concert," I would prefer the Madonna concert any day. She's a lot better than listening to Huckabee and Company bicker about the Democrats all night.

shes a lot better than the other crappy concerts.. sure the tickets are extremely expensive (one date at the new york city madison square garden had a floor ticket upto $25,000 dollars, YIKES) and the concerts have high technology and its fun and the GOP convention is BORINGG

Not sure,but I think you're talking about the concert where Gorillaz played live (well, superimposed) with Madonna.

Do a YouTube search for Gorillaz and see if that's what you're looking for.

So when I had my ears pierced I had to use 14k gold, because I was highly allergic to anything else. For awhile now I've been contemplating a Madonna Piercing. But one concern I have is will I have any allergic reactions if I use stainless steel for the Madonna piercing?

The safest jewelry to use for any piercing (and the ones that cause the least amount of irritation or allergic reactions) are surgical implant grade steel, titanium, niobium, or nickel-free gold.

Just because gold is 24k doesn't mean that it doesn't contain nickel (it usually does).

Any REPUTABLE piercer will carry the correct jewelry for initial piercings (all implant grade and all internally threaded or threadless). Ask before being pierced and you should be fine.

To care for a piercing that was completely healed (2-6 months at least) before you removed it, all you need to do is keep the area clean. Keep your makeup far away from the piercing while it's trying to close, wash it gently in the shower, and leave the jewelry out. If you were fully healed before you took the piercing out, you can apply something like mederma, vitamin e oil, or any other gentle cream you choose to try to break down the scarring. If you weren't completely healed (if you had the piercing less than two months) then it is probably better to allow the piercing to close before you try applying creams to it to avoid the risk of irritation.

How quickly your piercing closes and how well the scar fades depends a great deal on your skin. Some folks will heal without a mark while others will always have an obvious scar if you look closely. If you find yourself to be a slower healer, DON"T try to fill the mark in with makeup for a few months. Keeping irritants out of the piercing will help your body heal the best it can. If you've waited 4 months and still have a mark, then its time to start working with concealer if you need it.
