Kimi Raikkonen?
SHANGHAI, 2009

Why does Kimi Raikkonen come across as a prickish, little snob. Does he know something we don't? Life can't be that difficult for an F1 driver.

I'm not sure what Räikkönen's problem is but your description of him is quite accurate. I've read that he's a boozer and a womanizer off the track and that he's very aloof with his crew and fellow drivers. I feel sure his life is anything but difficult and I vividly recall what a gentleman his fellow countryman and F1 champion Mika Hakkinen was. So why is Kimi such a little shit? Your guess is as good as mine.

EDIT: My apologies for the meanderings of the imbecile below. It would appear that "ace" can't take a hint and is now developing an obsession for me. I'm strangely not flattered. Anyway, judging by his previous posts on this site it would appear he enjoys making unwelcome and insipid remarks about things he knows nothing about. I think he actually believes he's "clever," even "witty," but he's actually an ignorant dickweed with the mental age of 14. I almost feel sorry for him... almost.

Will Kimi Raikkonen be having a soothing cup of ovaltine this evening as usual?

What's the problem with some of you. Ferrari aren't favoured. Hamilton is a dangerous driver and broke the rules bu cheating. End of story.

He'll be pissed on his yacht somewhere I expect

At what age did Kimi Raikkonen start his debut in F1?
KR1_edit 2012

I remember he started at Sauber Petronas team with Nick Heidfeld as his team mate.

20 years, 138 days to be exact, on the day of the Australian gp in 2001, finished 6th on his debut too.

What do you think of a possible Kimi Raikkonen - Fernando Alonso Ferrari pairing next year?
Celebrating with Kimi Raikkonen

It's a possibility given Fernando Alonso's comments of late.

I think Kimi is probably one of the few drivers that he probably would treat with some respect.
They came into f1 the same year, Alonso has seen Kimi miss out on the title a possible two times due to reliability problems - So he's no upstart. Hamilton was a shock for Alonso and wouldn't he be for any champion.
It probably won't happen for various reasons but with the right management I could see them working fine together.

Do you think Kimi Raikkonen deserves to be the 2007 Formula 1 world champion?
Ferrari F2008 & F2007 Kimi Raikkonen

I do.ö He's worked so hard. At least he's not arrogant or anything.

Yes he does after trying to do it so many years.

Isn't it great that Kimi Raikkonen has rescued a tainted season ?
Ferrari F2008 Kimi Raikkonen

The thought of a team that cheated and it's drivers being in a position to be Champion was a disgrace.

One of the best questions ever posted here, Victor! You are spot on!

It is great that Raikkonen has won. I think a Mclaren driver winning would have been tainted because after all Mclaren was stripped of all its constructors' points for involvement in the spy scandal, but their drivers had gotten no penalty!
