Joel Mchale and Ryan Seacrest are constantly dissing each other, but I know they both work at E. so i was just wondering if they do that just for publicity or they actually hate each other.

I don't think they hate eachother.
They probably do it just to be funny.

I was watching The View today and they announced that Ms. Walters was getting a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (I think that is the correct name for it.). But if I remember correctly Ryan Seacrest already got one. I am just trying to figure out how he gets a Star before Barbara Walters when she has done so many major interviews. It seems to me that whoever is in charge doesn't care about what one has done just how popular they are.

More to the point: "How does Ryan seacrest get a star at all?"

The guy is just a host. I could think of thousands of other actors who deserve it before him. Even the judges could've gotten it before that guy.

I mean, years from now, when american idol loses fame, people will look at the barbara walters star and remember why she was famous. They will then come across the ryan seacrest star and say: "who?" "what?"

"what did he do?"

and the answer my friends is nothing.
