Does anybody else notice that everytime Serena Williams is losing a match she seems to get injured? She is the poorest sport in tennis and there is no room for her there. I wish we could turn back time and there be 2 Venus Williams instead of the poor loser Serena.
It's so funny you asked this. She was feeling and moving fine while she was ahead but as soon as Anna got that second break she called for the trainer. I knew she was going to retire as soon as she called the trainer. She was just mad cause Anna had more game that her today.
I think she also got nervous because she new she would get plastered by Justine tomorrow. tsk tsk tsk too bad to I really wanted to see Justine whoop her again. Oh well. I guess I will have to settle for Justine taking back that loss from Bartoli.
Oh and I forgot first she was blaming the raquet then when she couldn't blame the raquet anymore it was her knee. What bull. Go Anna
Serena seeks revenge against the 2011 US Open champion.....
i am doing a research paper on serena williams and i need to know what university she graduated from.
Serena Williams went to a tennis school rean by proffesional player Rick Macci in Haines City, Florida at Greneleaf resort and confrence center instead of going to a university.
In the midst of criticism and down right bashing by the media, Serena Williams continues to be a coveted Tennis Star. Promoters of the WTA Championships offer fervent praise.
"Having Serena is a dream come true. She is one of the best players ever and having her here in Madrid presents a great opportunity for fans to watch her," said Tournament Director and Spanish tennis legend Manolo Santana. "I am delighted to have her with us. Her comeback has been impressive and I am sure she will be fighting for the title."
Serena willams as you now took womens tennis to a whole new dimension.. She along with her sister venus really brought up the power into the game of tennis. exceptional power and great skill.. She has so much charisma, chracter, and passion for what she does..
Her introduction into tennis was almost like a cindrella story, being coached by there father, who unleashed 2 unbeatable tennis stars... i remeber the days when there dominance was so prevalent!....
Essentially every female tennis player today knows and will give credit to Serena Willams for shifing the womens game of tennis to greater heights, and attracting more attention to the womens game.
Steffi Graf holds the all-time record for most weeks at No.1 for both men and women at 377 weeks. As of April 6, 2008, Serena Williams has been ranked number one for only 57 weeks.
Serena has never had the COMMITMENT to the game that Steffi Graf had and that's what really sets them apart. Serena will go down as a player who didn't make full use of her talents and opportunities because her mind was always someplace else. Ditto with her sister. They both could have achieved much much more if they had their priorities straight. I think when they're older, they'll look back on their careers and regret what they didn't achieve. The same can't be said of Steffi.
I can not wait to see what outfit Serena Williams wears at the US Open. I know she will please cause she is the sexiest woman in the world and she looks good in everything. My top 3 favorite outfits she ever wore were
1. U.S. Open 02 (catsuit) http://www.functionx.com/people/swilliams/swilliams1.gif
2. French Open 04 http://www.gambling911.com/Serena-Williams-2.jpg
3. Nasdac 100 Open http://webpages.charter.net/tennisfreak/spics/nasdaq053.jpg
What is your favorite?
well, with her body, i don't think really anything looks good on her, but if i had to choose, i would say 2, because it is covering up the most skin!!
Let me say this first I think Serena Williams is the most beautiful women in the world. But I was wondering how much she weighed. I know she is 5'10 but all the weights are different on web sites and haven't been updated in a while. The past year she has put on a few pounds but I don't mind I still think she looks amazing. Here's my estimate of what she is- 5'10 160lbs. What do you think? (Dont look on websites please) http://www.celebridy.com/celebridyimages/serena_williams_butt_01.jpg
