They are terrible, the death of comedy films, very formulaic and juvenile and immature humor.

I think the appeal is they are funny on a base level, and people don't have to think too hard about them. There not "dumb comedies", but they aren't high art, either. At least, that would explain the ones I've seen.

Judd Apatow 3/8-07

It seems like they are involved in every new movie in some way or another. Weather its people from the office, or SNL, and Judd Apatow's crew like Jonah Hill or Seth Rogan. I'm so tired of seeing them, BRANCH OUT!

well it appears that studios are trying to cash in on their success with superbad and knocked up and 40 year old virgin. it's all about the buck, and honestly their other movies besides these are not very good. This happened and still is with ben stiller, vince vaughn and owen wilson, will ferrell, they all make movies together.

Everyone raves about Superbad but they forget about Knocked up and Walk Hard. No one seems to remember he worked on Anchorman and Talledega Nights too. My personal favorite is Walk Hard because the songs are good quality and funny and it is a perfect biopic parody.

My favorite is "The 40 Year Old Virgin" because Steve Carell is a genius, and that's the movie that introduced me to the brilliance that is Seth Rogen.

How would you feel about it? Would you see it? Did you even like the original?

I LOVED he original but i would think it would be kind of pointless to make a sequel bc what would the story be about since she is already been knocked up and already had the baby. it would defeat the meaning of the title. however, judd apatow is a genious and i know he will make an awesome movie in the near future!
